Growing up in Lindisfarne, James is married to Alison and has two young children, Anna and Campbell.

Working extensively in the health care sector in Australia and overseas, James is committed to ensuring that all Tasmanians can access high quality health and education services.

James has been an Alderman on Clarence City Council since 2012. He enjoys spending time with his family, bushwalking and coastal walking, cooking and canoeing on the Derwent.
