Supporting Australian Manuka honey

The state’s 257 registered beekeepers account for just over 22,000 hives.

Manuka honey became the most valuable honey variety with an estimated value of $3.1 million.

Highly prized Manuka honey has been produced by Tasmania’s beekeepers for many decades.

The Australian Government has provided a grant of $165,000 to the Australian Manuka Honey Association to raise awareness of Australia’s excellent Manuka honey.
