Labor’s hapless energy spokesman is now claiming Dr Broad doesn't have to cost or pay for his power promises because the money ‘would come straight from Hydro’s super profits’!

Make no mistake, Labor’s reckless promises would cost Tasmanian taxpayers half a billion dollars over the next four years.

Labor can’t rip that kind of money out of Hydro year after year without compromising essential services like health that Hydro help fund.

It's now obvious that Labor's power promise is just another cruel hoax that they have no intention to honour.

Either that, or Labor is planning big cuts or big new taxes.

Mr Winter can’t simply keep shaking his magic money tree.
