In the most embarrassing campaign failure of the last two decades, Labor’s shadow Treasurer has been caught out fudging the figures in his official costings.

After handing out Labor’s costing documents at a media conference, Dr Broad was forced to embarrassingly make 11 major corrections before posting the document on the Labor website.

Dr Broad obviously needs some help with adding up - and handling Excel spreadsheets.

How can Labor expect to keep control of the state’s budget if it has to make significant changes to its official costings document after being caught out having numbers that don’t add up.

Dr Broad is evidently blaming a ‘software error’ for cooking the books.

Perhaps Dr Broad should have had ChatGPT do his costings.

Labor has been making up numbers right throughout this campaign - they simply can’t be trusted when it comes to managing Tasmania’s budget.
