Marcus has lived and breathed the Clark community all his life. First as a student, then raising his family and building his family business. He is embedded in the local community and is firmly invested in its future. Marcus has spent many years mentoring young people through school and sport, in addition to supporting apprentices through his small business.
As someone who has served their community for many years, Marcus understands the value of hard work and service to others. He is a strong supporter of small and family business, recognising they are the backbone of the Tasmanian economy and employing thousands of Tasmanians.
Representing a diverse community across the Clark electorate, Marcus was inspired to run for Parliament from his desire to make a difference and believes local communities thrive when their representatives understand the issues that are important to them.
Family is his motivating force, and he is passionate about improving opportunities for young Tasmanians to gain skills and reach their potential.
He is married to Rachel and they have three adult children.
