Marcus Vermey is a local small business operator who is actively involved in the Hobart community.
He was born and raised in Hobart and has lived locally all his life, attending St Virgil's College before training to be a butcher. He and his wife Rachel run an award winning small business in the heart of Sandy Bay.
Employing local young people, he wants our kids to have great opportunities to become skilled tradespeople, work locally and have the chance to buy their own homes here in Tasmania.
Marcus is also involved in coaching and administering rowing, where for the last 14 years he has been mentoring and training young people to develop healthy, active lifestyles and to perform at their best.
