Simon Behrakis is a former Alderman on the Hobart City Council and has been a strong voice for development and economic growth. Having previously run as a Liberal Candidate in the 2018 State election, Mr Behrakis was first elected to Council in 2018, where he became Chair of the Planning Committee.
Born and raised in Hobart, Mr Behrakis has worked as an Assistant Manager at small business Salamanca Fresh, giving him first-hand insight into the importance of small businesses across the State.
