Simon Wood has lived in Launceston for nearly his entire life. He loves representing the seat of Bass, which he has proudly done since 2022, and previously served as an Alderman on the Launceston City Council from 2014 to 2018.
With a strong background in small and family business, Simon is passionate about delivering jobs and opportunities in Bass. He has worked hard to engage closely with a range of organisations since being elected, building local networks through sporting clubs, community groups and service providers.
Simon wants to see young people have the best chances to succeed in his community.
