While Labor is trying to run a desperate scare campaign they have once again squibbed the facts, with ABS payroll jobs data showing the number of jobs is 0.7 per cent higher than when the pandemic first hit in mid-March last year.
Unsurprisingly all jurisdictions saw a fall in the number of jobs recorded by payroll jobs data in the two weeks to 10 April given the Easter Holiday period, however, Tasmania fell by 1 per cent, which was the lowest fall of any state.
This reinforces the need for a majority Gutwein Liberal Government, which has the plan and leadership to secure Tasmania’s future.
