Labor’s health policy on the run continues

Labor’s health policy on the run today shows their contempt for Tasmania’s incredible ambulance volunteers.

There was not one mention of volunteer ambulance officers in Labor’s ambulance policy when it was released on 11 April, and nor was there at the last election either.

Since Labor released their “Health Action Plan” early in the campaign, they have made numerous changes, additions and deletions to it as its various flaws are exposed.

Today’s announcement shows that our incredible volunteer paramedics are just an afterthought for Labor.

Only the Liberals have shown a willingness to support our volunteer ambulance officers.

We have delivered the biggest ever ambulance volunteers support package, just as we said we would at the 2018 election, and our policy at this election includes more equipment, more resources, an even closer partnership with the Volunteer Ambulance Association of Tasmania.

Tasmanians will see through Labor’s desperate last minute announcements.
