The Liberal Party has confirmed that Kristy Johnson has been selected as the candidate for the seat of Franklin for the next Federal election.

“I welcome the announcement of Kristy Johnson as our Liberal candidate for Franklin, she will be a great asset to our Tasmanian Federal Liberal Team” Senator Duniam said.

“Kristy is a successful businesswoman with a strong connection to the Eastern Shore community and has owned and operated a small business in Bellerive for a number of years.

“Kristy is hardworking and determined to win the seat of Franklin and help the Morrison Government deliver on its plan for Tasmania by cementing our economic recovery, creating jobs and continuing to support the people of Franklin.

“The people of Franklin deserve to have a representative who is invested in the community and is focused on the needs of those living and working in Franklin. They deserve a local champion like Kristy Johnson, who will tirelessly fight for her community”
