I’m disappointed to let you know that Sarah Courtney, Member for Bass has today resigned from Parliament.

Sarah was an integral part of the team elected to government in 2014 under Will Hodgman, helping to ensure we won three seats in Bass.

Since her election Sarah has been an active and valued member of the State Liberal team, including after her elevation to Cabinet following the 2018 state election.

On behalf of the Liberal Party, I would like to sincerely thank Sarah for her contribution to the Party and to good government in Tasmania, and wish her all the best for her future endeavours.
