Yesterday’s ABS figures confirm that there are now more people employed in Launceston and the North East than ever before.*

The Liberals have a plan for a strong economy and a stronger future and we are seeing the results.

There is a record number of jobs in Launceston and the North East and that didn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of a strong Liberal Government that has delivered tax relief for workers and small businesses, invested in the infrastructure we need and supported skills and training to make sure we have the workforce to fill the record number of jobs.

Only the Liberals have a positive plan for northern Tasmania. I don’t want to see a situation where local jobs will be sold out like we have seen in the past.
