LIBERALS’ PLAN FOR BRADDON: $7.5 MILLION FOR IRONCLIFFE ROAD UPGRADES

The Liberal Government is continuing to deliver better and safer roads across Braddon, with a significant funding contribution announced for a project to upgrade Ironcliffe Road under the Remote Roads Upgrade Program.

Liberal Member for Braddon, Gavin Pearce said the funding would go a long way to improve safety along Ironcliffe Road.

“I’m pleased to announce that the Liberal Government is delivering $7.5 million for the Central Coast Council to undertake important road safety upgrades along Ironcliffe Road,” Mr Pearce said.

“We want all Tasmanians to be able to travel safely along our roads, and this investment will help residents and local producers get to their destination safer and sooner.

“The project involves works along a 9.3 kilometres of Ironcliffe Road and includes road widening and sealing, improved lighting infrastructure, upgrades to intersections, and installation of safety barriers.

“Only through the Liberal Government’s strong economic management can we continue to deliver important local infrastructure projects like this for the people of Braddon.

“The Liberal Government continues to deliver for the residents of Braddon, and this announcement is part of our plan to build a strong economy and a stronger future.”
