Shane Broad was yesterday forced to reissue his costings just hours after releasing them when 11 critical mistakes were uncovered.

Internal rumblings are now deafening as Dr Broad’s disastrous error puts an emphatic full stop on a forgettable Labor campaign.

Labor’s energy spokesman Dean Winter will be relieved Dr Broad’s disaster has saved him from the title of worst campaign stuff-up.

Mr Winter was forced to scrap his landmark energy policy after just a day following a union revolt - meaning the plan to gut the Hydro and set up a Victorian Labor designed "Tasmanian Power Co" policy didn't survive the night.

Labor has already begun jockeying for the spoils of defeat as their campaign collapses around them.
