Labor has refused to rule out closing schools as part of its plan for widespread cuts.

Economist Saul Eslake has called for schools to be closed to save money.

The Liberals have ruled it out.

But Labor won’t rule it out.

The last Labor-Green Government planned to shut 20 schools to save money.

And they will do it again.

Labor also supports Mr Eslake’s call to raise taxes.

Labor voted in Parliament to raise taxes and has signed a deal with the unions and business, which puts tax increases and asset sales on the table.
